Assistant Technical Director

Jonathan is from Stafford, VA and is currently studying Nanoscience at Virginia Tech. He is a multi-instrumentalist as well as an aspiring beat maker. Jonanthan has spent his time at VTDITC’s True School Studios learning how to use digital audio workstations like Protools and Logic. He’s also learned how to use other creative technologies in the studio like various Akai MPC and Roland SP samplers/drum machines. Most importantly, he is learning how to teach others how to use the resources in True School Studios to realize their artistic visions. He spent Summer 2024 designing, creating, and releasing a sample pack, “The Heat Index,” which is available to be downloaded for free at The Open Science Framework.
